Tune in for our 6th NYSAFP DEI Podcast episode featuring Dr. Raymond Ebarb, who spoke about disability and accessibility in healthcare.
Dr. Ray Ebarb is a Brooklyn native and a graduate of the State University of New York in Buffalo, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Then, equipped with only his high school Spanish, he went on to attend medical school in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico for four years. He then came back to Bay Shore, Long Island for his Family Medicine residency. Dr. Ebarb settled down in Sayville, New York in 1991 and started the Great South Bay Medical Practice, where he has continued to practice family medicine for 38 years and is particularly experienced in providing geriatric care. Dr. Ebarb has been a member of the NYSAFP since 1984 and was the NYSAFP Past President from 2013-2014. He now serves as the state delegate to the AAFP Congress of Delegates.
LGBTQ Health features Dr. Scott Hartman, an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the Co-Chair of the NYSAFP Public Health Commission.
