New York State Proposes Changes to Mandatory Ethics Training for Lobbyists and Clients
New York State has proposed changes to mandatory ethics training requirements for lobbyists and clients, including a two-year training cycle, new certification and recordkeeping responsibilities, and graduated late fees for noncompliance. Public comments are being accepted through December 14, 2026.
