12th Budget Extender Bill Introduced
The Legislature is expected to take up the twelfth budget extension measure later today, which will fund state government through Monday, May 18th, 2026. The Governor sent the Legislature Program Bill #37, which has been introduced as S10324 (Serrano)/ A11365 (Pretlow).
The budget is now 44 days late, and seven days past Governor Hochul’s budget agreement announcement, with a number of issues still outstanding. We expect negotiations to continue through the weekend. We will continue to monitor for developments and provide updates as the budget process continues.
