NYSAFP Standing Commissions
Chapter 10 of the NYSAFP Bylaws establishes six standings commissions to manage the mission related work of the Academy. These commissions meet three times annually in person at Academy clusters and may meet by conference call as needed. Commission chairs, vice chairs and members are appointed each year by the president.
Commission members receive reimbursement for their expenses incurred to attend commission meetings.
