In 1991, the NYSAFP established an award for excellence in family practice education. This award is known as the Family Practice Educator of the Year Award and is given annually to recognize excellence in education. Several years ago we started including Volunteer Educators.
Nominees must be active members of the NYSAFP and should be involved in teaching activities at the student level, resident level or continuing medical education of family physicians. If you would like to nominate someone, complete the form
